Cuban-born Rochi Llaneza has dedicated her life to the arts. As an Arts Administrator and Non-Profit Director, she executed curatorial projects, served as a judge of many curatorials, and executed abundant fundraising projects for the art world. Llaneza was involved in the creation of art organizations such as Wynwood Association, Women of Wynwood and Miami Art Dealers Association. As an artist, Llaneza has exhibited her artwork in art fairs and galleries all over the world.
After ending her 8-year tenure as the Executive Director of Hardcore Art Contemporary Space, Llaneza is now an independent Arts Professional curating exhibits, representing artists, and consulting private clients. Presently she is the Chair of Communications and Programming for ArtTable, Inc.; a Member of Sistrunk Arts Partnership; a Member of the Board of Trustees of MOCA North Miami, among other volunteer work.
Llaneza will be curating an exhibition in the Max Strang-designed Pavilion at The Kampong. "It's a privilege to heighten the natural beauty of The Kampong with art that talks to, and for the environment," said Llaneza. "Most of the artists I will be showing use their artistic language to convey environmental and ecological messages."
